Hi! I’m Maryann and although I am not a doctor, I feel like I have definitely grown into my initials ( M.D.)! After 30+ years, I still love the creativity in this field. There are so many facets…from cutting, to coloring, to styling.

Even teaching was a great experience. I enjoyed it all, but there comes a time in this field to specialize in a particular area. Since styling was probably my biggest strength, I was awestruck by the re-creations of hair enhancements. As soon as my training began, I was absolutely captivated! That was 15 years ago.

This specialty has brought such meaning to my craft…being able to re-create what was lost is so-o-o rewarding and still thrills me. Three crucial components; color match, texture match, and density. When all three things are in sync… MAGIC happens! You can see why I am so passionate about my work. That is only one aspect in this fascinating field…I believe in taking care of the “whole” person.
